At Home Success

So not only do I want to talk about stay at home jobs but I also want to touch on what I have learned raising a child and tips to help you in your journey of parenthood.

As a stay at home mom I have the opportunity to be with my child 24/7, which can be challenging at times but yet very rewarding. My first advice to any stay at home mom is to make sure to have some you time. I believe that a mom needs this as a source of rejuvenation. Get out of th
e house and go get a manicure, pedicure, facial
or even your hair done. You can also go meet
a friend for lunch or a drink to get some time out.
Another idea is grabbing a book or magazine an
d going in another room in the house just for
that little bit of you time. I like to make some ho
t tea as well so I have something healthy to sip
on. I have an exercise room as well so I slip out there and burn a few calories. Exercise releases natural endorphines which help the body and mind feel happy and satisfied.

Another thing I want to share is the importance of going out on dates with your hubby. Befor
e the birth of my daughter jeff ( my husband)
kinda led a fairy-tale life. We came and went
as we pleased, went out with our friends all the
time and spent our money more irresponsibly
than we do now. Since our daughter we hav
e tightened our budget, friends aren’t our prio
rity as much anymore, and Jeff and I just do
n’t go on dates near as much anymore. I feel like
we need more time spent doing these things
especially for the health of your marriage. I also believe this time for yourself allows me to be a better parent because if I’m not feeling good about myself and doing things for myself once in a while then I am not parenting at the top of my game.

These small tips have helped me to have an excellent marriage as well as a great mother daughter relationship. These things have also helped me to be a great parent. Use theae and other stay at home mom ideas throughout this website.
