Let’s face it, there are many online businesses so you are probably wanting to know that if you start an online business, how you can be up there with the top dogs right? All of these things will allow a customer to trust you and your product you are selling.  Remember that the source of competitive advantage is superior value creation. I live in a climate where there are four seasons and it definitely gets cold here in the winter. I look at ways to save on our heating bills and just want to share my thoughts on our Edenpure Heater. Right now our families 2nd source of heat is our Edenpure heater, first being propane. Our house in approximately 1,800 square feet and we like to keep our house at 70 degrees during the day, 65 at night. I get cold really easy so I am not willing to compensate my temperature. Anyways, as a stay at home mom I look for ways to budget our families heating bills because they can get outrageous. Our LP sources are limited and we actually get our fill ups at a local Amish country store so a 100 pound LP tank costs us around $50 a fill, which isn’t that great but reasonable for competitors in our area. I just recently bought our Edenpure Heater as a secondary source of heat to lessen our fuel bill. Our Edenpure Heater keeps the temperature at a maintained level of 70 degrees throughout the day. Our furnace runs a lot less and our electric went up a minimal amount. When I went through and calculated the difference we were ahead by using the Edenpure heater. Since I have little ones it really rest assured that they won’t get burned by touching the heater either. This heater is 100% energy efficient, has a temperature control, and a remote control in case you have a hard time bending over, just another convenience.

I am running the heater as we speak and my daughter is running around by it and I am happy that this heater will not burn her fragile skin. The Edenpure Heater that I am running is a GEN4 and I really like it.

Once you have your topic and you know it is popular, try to target an audience. For example, women and children, sports, baby care, homemade creations, natural healing, holistic living, weight loss etc. These are all topics that are popular and narrow down a target audience. Then develop a web page. Use a design that is simple and easy to read. Try keeping the colors to 2 or 3 so that visitors don’t get distracted. Than just focus on content, content, content! When you have an online business, content is the main thing you have to keep up on. I am still adding content to my website daily to keep it competitive and ranked. With the success of my stay at home job, I would like to offer the same key strategies that I used that lead me to success.  I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration majoring in Management along with three associate degrees. I also have work experience in the business field, some of which I have management positions. With my experience and expertise I have been able to develop a strong and money making online business. I first off want to tell you that I really enjoy my online business. It makes more money than any job that I have ever had and I get to do it in the comfort of my own home. The whole idea behind it is that I didn’t want to work my life away. I wanted to enjoy all of the little things that life has to offer. When I worked full time I felt I didn’t have any time to do the things that really made me feel happy. I wanted to spend more time with my daughter, I wanted to make her scrapbooks. I wanted to meet up with my friends for lunch and have our children have a play date. Working full time made it impossible to achieve such a thing.

When deciding to become a stay at home mom, you need to decide what kind of work makes you happy. Do you enjoy photography, proof reading, virtual assistant, taking surveys, mystery shopping, affiliate marketing, crafting, sewing. These are the things that I began to write down, things that I really enjoyed. Taking surveys are fun because you can do them at your convenience and they take anywhere from 15 -30 minutes and you paid to do them. Affiliate marketing is available every where you look. If you like to blog then you should look into affiliate marketing for specific products that you blog about. For instance, if you write a blog about weight loss than you should look up products like visalus who offer affiliate marketing programs. If you like to sell things on eBay then look into using eBay as an affiliate marketing tactic. If you blog about direct sales than maybe you might want to look into affiliate marketing for companies such as PartyLite, Simply Tasteful, Miche Bags, Tupperware, Scentsy, etc.

These are great examples of how you can get into making money online. If you put some thought into things that you truly love and desire than put your hands to work. You can succeed with a stay at home job and best of all you can become a stay at home mom!

My idea before kids was to go to college and find a decent job that I enjoyed making decent money. Well, I live in rural area and after college I didn’t find a job that payed worth a darn or that I enjoyed.

That baffled me…I mean I went to school for six years, received four different degrees, a  Bachelors and three Associates, paid all that money into tuition and college expenses and didn’t really come out where I had anticipated I would be. My work ethic, determination, motivation and drive I believe are all above average, I have a college education, work experience so how hard can it possibly be??? When I worked full time I basically paid for daycare, gas, and groceries.

This was very disappointing to me, I was working for nothing and watching my baby grow without my care. Until one day I had had enough! I began researching ways that I could develop a home based business to stay at home with my child. So it became, through much hard work and dedication I got what I wanted…my dream job! I actually like getting up in the morning, drinking my morning coffee with my laptop and working at home. My home based business doesn’t take more than a few hours a week of my time and I find that I have plenty of time to do the things I want to do with my daughter while she is young.

Since I do stay at home with her, during the week we like to do things that enhance her strengths in a fun way such as paint, color, read books, sing songs, Count, ABC’s, Spanish, Chinese, Sign Language, Adding, Colors and more. I really try to find ways to spark her curiosity to learn more and I always give her encouragement, because that is important. With my encouragement she is able to encourage herself to do better and more. I see her progress with these basic activities. I am very thankful to have came upon this opportunity of becoming a stay at home mom. I plan on having more children in the near future and this surely gives me piece of mind that I won’t have to worry about taking my baby to a daycare at 6 weeks old.
